On Sunday, A Centaurus shopping Mall fire started in the food court of a well-known shopping centre in Islamabad, but it was quickly "under control" as rescue workers rushed to the scene.
After videos on social media platforms showed smoke coming out of the building, the chief commissioner of the capital declared that the fire had been put out and that the cooling process had begun.
Islamabad Police said in a statement that people were rescued and safely evacuated from the mall's backdoor, which was covered in smoke following the incident.
According to the police, the fire inside the mall has been put out, a helicopter has been summoned in, and although the search is still going on, no one or any property has been damaged.
